Election 2013
School Board Trustee, Place 1 Election was May 11, 2013. Tookie Mullen received 113 votes and Rusty Bryson received 68. See the attached Williamson County Election link for other results.

Superintendent's Message
|
August 27, 2012 I want to personally welcome all of our students and their parents to the Jarrell Independent School District for the 2012-2013 School Year. The beginning of school is a great time of year as it is a new beginning and the start of something special. This time of year always brings a smile to my face as the sights and sounds signal the start of school. Football and Volleyball teams have begun preparations for their games and matches, the sound of the drummers marking off the cadence for the band is filling the air, and all of our students begin scurrying down the halls of our schools. Jarrell ISD is blessed with a wonderful teaching staff, and we have been fortunate in that the new teachers we have brought in for this year are all quality professionals. We have an excellent Board of Trustees, administrative and support staff. I strongly believe good things will be happening in JISD. Our faculty and staff have what it takes to motivate our students to become the best academic school district in Williamson County. I have challenged the faculty and staff to create positive learning experiences for your child and to prepare your student for success outside of our district. They have been challenged with producing quality individuals upon graduation from JISD as we want to do all we can to prepare them to succeed in their postsecondary training, careers, and life. I feel very blessed to lead this wonderful school district. Thanks to the faculty, staff, students, and community who have made me, along with my family, feel so welcome to Jarrell ISD. I look forward to serving all of you.
