This is the image for the news article titled Final Parenting Classes and Christmas Assistance Program - Dec. 18Parents/guardians of Jarrell ISD students, in grades Pre-K through 12th grade, are invited to participate in the next Parenting Class/Christmas Assistance program Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Jarrell Middle School.

At the event, parents/guardians will learn helpful strategies such as effective ways to communicate with children, tips for parenting, ensuring student success with positive discipline and more. Following the class, parents/guardians will be able to pick up Christmas presents (toys, games and other items) for children in their households. The gifts are made possible through district partners: Sphere-Realty and Property Management, Jarrell Police Department, Eagle Bank, Methodist Community Outreach, and R Bank.

This event is not for children, and childcare will not be provided. We strongly encourage that families refrain from bringing their children to this event due to the topics addressed during the parenting classes and the distribution of unwrapped toys and games intended as Christmas presents for children.
